Dr. Sejal Worah is a conservationist and environmentalist by passion and profession. She is the Programme Director at the World Wide Fund for Nature-India, and co-founder of the Jabarkhet Nature Reserve in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India’s first privately owned nature reserve. The Jabarkhet Nature Reserve (JNR), set up on 100 acres of privately owned forest land in Mussoorie aims to demonstrate a model that combines conservation, education and ecotourism, while generating economic benefits for local communities and landowners.
